The Small Reaper Bare Rig (with no hooks or hardware) allows you to customise your own rig by adding your own preferred terminal tackle. The Small Reaper Rig is perfect for small baits 4-6" range such as pilchards and sardines, but also Ballyhoo up to 10".
The small head and bib provide a discreet design, ideal for when the pelagic fish are finicky or picky. Despite the plastic construction of the head, the 5/64" (2mm) thick stainless steel through rod will keep you attached to the fish after hookup, no matter how hard the fight. In bare form (no terminal tackle) the small rig weighs 1/2 oz.
Every angler will have their own preference for hooks and wire gauge so buying the bare Small Reaper Rig (affectionately called the Slim Reaper) gives the benefits of this easy to use, effective dead-bait trolling rig but enables you to choose your own hooks. It can be rigged with ganged single j-hooks, multiple trebles (stingers), or a combination of singles and trebles to suit your bait length.

Please note we recommend running split rings at both ends of the stainless rod - the front hole can have sharp edges so if you are tying leader directly to to rig there is a chance of abrasion.
